The Sky’s the limit at ARoS’ new panoramic rooftop

The Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson grabbed international attention with his Weather Project in the Turbine Hall of Tate Modern, London, in 2006. On 28th May 2011, Eliasson’s long-awaited "Your Rainbow Panorama" rooftop installation at the ARoS Museum of Modern Art in Aarhus is expected to pop the senses of its visitors wide open(!) when they endeavour on a 500 feet long rainbow-hued walk, some 160 feet above the city!

ARoS, the Museum of Modern Art in Aarhus, is frequently used for gala dinners, product launches, team building events and conferences. Olafur Eliasson’s new installation, however, is expected to boost the number of business events staged at ARoS even further, as its new rooftop will add extra “spice” to almost any kind of event staged at the already impressive art venue in the heart of the city. Business events at ARoS don’t really happen without the venue trying to stay true to its means; art somehow is an integrated part of any kind of business event held here, and, in any case, is a crucial reason why businesses and meeting planners approach the venue in the first place.

With “Your Rainbow Panorama” business clients of ARoS will get the possibility of zipping drinks on the rooftop, attend product launches, etc. whilst watching the sunset over Aarhus Bay - in constantly changing shades and colours. Only the sky – and a bunch of creative meeting planners, perhaps? – seem to be the limit as to the sort of business events that could take place at Aarhus’ hippest rooftop in the near future!
