There are many things to be considered in order to keep your meeting or conference "green", and choosing the right hotel is no exception.
|
When choosing a hotel for a meeting, there are many factors to consider in terms of sustainability. You could stay in a hotel close to the meeting location in order to save money on taxi bills and at the same time help protect the environment. You could also stay longer, have more than one meeting or combine meetings with a technical visit. Or perhaps stay for a weekend just for your own pleasure? Some hotels are doing something extra to protect the environment and two of the most common labels that symbolise these actions are the Green Key, which is a Danish label and The Nordic Swan, which is used in the Nordic countries.
