Danish camping is well organised, both as far as the campers and the site owners are concerned. The major organisations are:

Camping Club Danmark 

Public Camp 

TopCamp

In addition to the above, a number of minor clubs exist (the Soliferclub, the Polar club, Danish Caravan Club, etc.) each with a few hundred members. Public Camp is an organisation of publicly owned camping sites, situated all over Denmark.

The overall supervision of the classified camping sites lies with the Danish Camping Board
